The Bathirst Liquor Name
Our name, Bathirst Liquor, is a play on Bathurst Street where our original store known as Greystanes Cellars was and still is located today. The neighbourhood favourite was widely known as "Bathurst Liquor" and "Bathurst Street Cellars" when shoppers searched for a Greystanes bottle shop. This inspired our brand name.
We took the iconic Bathurst Street location at Shop 7/41 Bathurst St, Greystanes NSW 2145 and created Bathirst Liquor (with an 'i'), a name that honours the Greystanes roots, reflects the local spirit, and gives a playful nod to being thirsty.
