Akashi is a Japanese single malt and blended whisky produced by the White Oak Distillery in Akashi City, Hyogo Prefecture — one of Japan's oldest whisky distilleries, established in 1888. Situated near the famous Akashi Strait, the distillery benefits from a unique coastal climate that shapes its whiskies with a gentle maritime character. Akashi expressions are known for their approachable elegance: light floral notes, soft fruit, subtle oak, and a clean, refined finish that reflects the Japanese whisky tradition.
