Kura is a Japanese single malt whisky produced by the Helios Distillery in Nago City, Okinawa — the southernmost region of Japan. Aged in American white oak casks, Kura whiskies reflect the warm, subtropical climate of Okinawa, which accelerates maturation and imparts a smooth, honeyed character with notes of vanilla, tropical fruit, and a gentle warmth.
