Buller Victorian Topaque

Buller Victorian Topaque is a beautifully crafted fortified wine from Rutherglen — one of Australia's most celebrated regions for this uniquely Australian style. Produced by the Buller family, who have been making wine in Rutherglen since 1921, this Topaque offers an accessible entry point into the world of Australian fortifieds without sacrificing the character and complexity that makes the style so special.

Topaque is made from the Muscadelle grape and sits in a lighter, more delicate style compared to the richer Rutherglen Muscat and Tawny — making it a wonderfully versatile dessert wine. Vanilla and sweet toffee on the nose lead into a palate of butterscotch and developed fruit with a juicy, rich texture. The finish is smooth and gently dry, with just enough sweetness to satisfy without being cloying.
