Henschke Keyneton Estate Euphonium is one of the Barossa's most celebrated red blends — a wine of extraordinary refinement and complexity from one of Australia's most iconic family wine estates. The Henschke family has been farming and making wine in the Eden Valley and Barossa since 1868, and Keyneton Estate Euphonium represents their mastery of blending Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc into a wine that is greater than the sum of its parts.

Bright crimson in the glass, the wine opens with a complex, layered nose of blackberry, liquorice allsorts, spice and violet, with blackcurrant and raspberry emerging as the wine breathes. The palate is driven by complexity rather than weight — a hallmark of Henschke's winemaking philosophy. Layers of blackcurrant, spice and liquorice are beautifully counterpointed by cedar and black pepper, all underpinned by fine-grained tannins and an exceptional persistence of flavour that carries through to a long, elegant finish.

A wine that rewards patience both in the cellar and in the glass. Decant for at least an hour before serving, and pair with slow-roasted lamb, beef fillet or aged hard cheeses.
