The Majella Shiraz has been one of Coonawarra's benchmark reds since its first vintage in 1991. Deep ruby in colour with a bright crimson hue, it delivers a full-bodied, concentrated style laden with licorice, mocha and hazelnut tannins wrapped around juicy plum and cherry fruit. Bright acidity and youthful vitality make it approachable now, but patience will be rewarded — this is Coonawarra Shiraz at its very best.
