The Morris family has been producing award-winning fortified wines in Rutherglen, Victoria since 1859, and it is those very same exceptional fortified wine barrels that give this single malt its unique and captivating character.

Deep gold in colour, the whisky opens with delicate aromatics that sit in the tradition of lighter Scotch blends — muesli, grain store, gentle pepper and subtle dried fruit — before revealing a palate of surprising richness and warmth. Sweet toasted cereals, choc ripple biscuit and lively spices carry through the mid-palate with excellent mouthfeel and body, while the long aftertaste offers lingering hints of dried fruit and toasted oak. Elegant, well-balanced and tasting mature well beyond its years.
