Scotchmans Hill is one of the Bellarine Peninsula's most celebrated producers, and their Shiraz is a standout expression of what this cool, maritime-influenced region does best. Situated on the southern tip of Victoria, the Bellarine's proximity to Port Phillip Bay and Bass Strait creates a unique growing environment — long, slow ripening seasons that build complexity and intensity in the fruit while retaining natural acidity and freshness.

This Shiraz opens with a complex bouquet of liquorice, blood plum and warm cooking spice, with a subtle thread of quality oak weaving through the background. The palate is well-balanced and supple, with a generous mid-palate of dark fruit and savoury notes that carry through to a long, lingering finish with fine, polished tannins. A wine that rewards patience in the glass.
