William Teacher would not give his name to his blend until he had found perfection — and Highland Cream was that whisky. Using fully peated single malt from the Ardmore distillery as its fingerprint malt, Teacher's opens with a deep and robust maltiness accompanied by a gentle highland peat smoke tang. This full flavour slowly fades to reveal sweeter, fruitier notes of apples, pears and heavy honey maturity, finishing with a silky, rounded texture rich in malt and character. Truly a masterpiece.
