Tyrrell's Hunter Valley Shiraz is made from grapes grown on some of the top estate blocks in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales, with an average vine age of 40 years — mostly dry grown. A modern, medium-bodied Australian Shiraz, the nose shows bright red fruits and savoury spice, which follows through onto the palate. Primary, bright fruits are balanced by soft, savoury tannins and a crunchy acidity that adds to the wine's complexity.
