Zenato Valpolicella Superiore 750ml

Zenato is one of the Veneto's most respected wine estates, and their Valpolicella Superiore is a benchmark expression of this classic northeastern Italian wine style. Made from a traditional blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone grapes grown in the Valpolicella DOC zone near Verona, this is a wine of genuine elegance and depth — a step above standard Valpolicella in both concentration and complexity.

The wine pours a deep ruby with outstanding violet and almond highlights on the nose, layered with ripe dark cherry, dried herbs and a subtle spice character. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied with a firm, well-structured backbone that gives it excellent ageing potential over several years. The finish is long and savoury, with a classic Italian dryness that makes it a natural companion for food.

Pair with pasta carbonara, grilled white meats, risotto or aged Italian cheeses.
